We Can Challenge - Free Aluminum Can Recycling Bins
Monterrey Metal Recycling Solutions is working to encourage more businesses in San Antonio to reycle aluminum cans in their break rooms, offices, company vehicles, etc. Every year, Texas businesses and households throw away millions of dollars in pure value by tossing aluminum cans into the trash instead of the recycling bin. Texas and Florida alone send an estimated 94,000 tons of recyclable aluminum straight to landfills annually, meaning nearly 3 out of every 4 aluminum cans in our region are permanently lost. For local businesses, this isn't just an environmental misstep—it is a massive economic waste of a 100% infinitely recyclable commodity that could otherwise slash production costs, support local supply chains, and power a thriving circular economy right here in our community.
